Pay-Per-Click Programs…an Introduction.

I’m sure that most of you have already heard or even run a campaign using one of the Pay-Per-Click or also known as PPC programs. So, this would be an introduction to PPC programs for anyone out there who are still not familiar with it or have no idea what it’s all about.

So, PPC as it’s self-explanatory term are basically a program where the advertisers would create a link, post it somewhere, and should pay some amount of money every time the link is clicked. In this case, the advertiser should first create the ads, in which contain a link. The link may be in various forms, including a common text link, an image link, or even a video link. After the ads created, they then should be assigned to one or more keywords. These keywords are the words, terms, or phrases in which people will type-in when searching for particular info in search engine. So, the ads will then show up either on a page optimized for that particular keyword, or just show up on SERP (Search Engine Result Page) as sponsored links in more eye-catching format. This will increase the Click-Through-Rate (known as CTR) of the ads. There are many tactics to increase CTR also. Then what happened to those ads when people click on them? Well, 3 things happen. The visitor would be brought to any page where the link point to, the ads owner/ the advertisers would pay certain amount of money, and website owner/ads space owner will get the money. The amount of money may differ relatively to the assigned keywords. The more relevant which means more competitors bidding on the same keyword are more likely the main cause the keyword cost may arise. Well, that’s the overview of how PPC works…

What will be covered in this blog especially PPC category are basically anything related to PPC programs. Type of PPC programs, Adwords, Adbrite, or any others, what elements should be considered to, what mistakes to avoid, how to research the market, how to select what products or services to advertised, how to write a converting ads, the landing page factors and conversion rate, how to select and where to look for great keywords, how to manage the ads and budget on each ads, etc. If you don’t familiar with some of the terms, don’t worry…I’ll try to make it as simple as possible but still informative since I know exactly that the most percentage of people who surfing on the Internet are looking for more particular information.

For each of those part, I’ll try to tag along the resources to refer to, which is very valuable resources regarding the particular topic. If for some reason you’ve decided to mastering adwords at all cost, you might want to consider investing into one or some of those ebooks or audios, or videos, or anything. For a starter, it’ll cost you a big dime, but if you really serious and have some cash to spend, just try it. Because if you happen to successfully implementing the materials, it would be worthed a hundred times…at least that’s what I believe. That’s why I’m into this.
For some of those, I’ll try to post my reviews on ebooks, or anything that I owned, explaining the summary of the contents, what you’ll learn, how to implement it, and what result to expect. To get more detailed info, you owe yourself to get the materials in any ways.

Well, this is the first phase and I’d like to talk and discuss about PPC on this blog because for me personally, PPC is the most easiest way to make money compared to the other method. The downside is, for the beginners, sometimes it’ll just take your budget down flat if you don’t really understand what you’re doing. This happens all the time when someone just getting started, do not really understand the whole game first, and just jump into in hope that it’ll show some results immidiately. They then get shocked when the budget runs out.

From now on, and for some time ahead, I’d like to focus on PPC and try to share with you anything I know about PPC, what I have done, what I’m testing out and try to converting this become a fairly fat growing business. So, practically, I’ll try to test this ‘business’ out myself and try to report the progress and results. Since I’m not an expert on this, I might be facing some mistakes, which of course would be shared here (in what I’m working on… category) too for you to learn. So, you’ll see this adwords, adwords, and adwords term anywhere for some time…

This particular topic would be posted in Make Money…>Google Adwords because looks like Adwords is the biggest player in PPC program area over the internet, and at this time, Google is still the ‘police’. They ‘create’ the rules.
